Kim Larson, Executive Director, has been involved in the community and worked locally as a nurse in hospitals and clinics for more than 20 years, eventually becoming the Executive Director at Adult & Child Therapy Services (ACTS). As Executive Director of ACTS, she managed multiple programs in physical, occupational speech therapy and Home Health. Kim is an inaugural graduate of Leadership Greater McHenry County and is currently President Elect of the Woodstock Noon Rotary Club. She was past chairperson of Christmas Clearing House and continues to be actively involved with that event. Family Alliance is pleased to welcome Kim Larson as its new director in 2013.
Carol Louise, RN-BC, Public Relations, Founder of Family Alliance, Inc., Carol successfully managed development and expansion of its programs for 30 years. Carol is a licensed Registered Nurse and Nursing Home Administrator and certified as a Geriatric Care Manager and Gerontological Nurse. Notably, Carol has been awarded Women in Management’s Woman of the Year, Business and Professional Woman of the Year, and the National Adult Day Services Association's Administrator Award in 2012. It is through her outstanding leadership ability and dedication that Carol has led the Family Alliance team to the level of best practices for the community of individuals which Family Alliance serves.
Cheryl Levinson, RN-BC, Clinical Director, Cheryl is a registered nurse, certified in psychiatry and mental health with 18 years experience. She has been with Family Alliance for 13 years and is responsible for agency wide programming, including both day and mental health services and staff development. She has a special interest in wellness for both clients and staff and incorporating mindfulness practices into service curriculum and employee education. Gretchen, RN, BSN,NE-BC, Policy & Quality Assurance Manager. Gretchen has been with Family Alliance for 7 years, guiding staff in maintaining the highest standards of care and keeping clinical & administrative policy in-line with accreditation expectations.
Mary, Finance Manager, Mary brought 25 years of financial experience 6 years ago, with substantial know-how in the demands of non-profit fiscal management. Irma, Human Resources Manager, has been with Family Alliance for over 7 years. Irma wears many hats, helping in various departments, and acts as a valuable bilingual liaison.
Diane, Environmental & Transportation Manager, is a certified Activity Director and has been with Family Alliance for 12 years. Diane has presented at state and national conventions on Montessori practices and various activity programs, and received the Illinois Activity Professionals Dorene Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the profession.
