Adult Day Health

Adult Day Health Programs, Psycho-Social Rehabilitative Services and Dementia-Specific Day Program

Family Alliance’s day health programs are designed to provide social interaction, cognitive stimulation and professional response to the comprehensive care needs of the physical and mentally fragile seniors.

With the addition of our new Dementia-Specific Day Program, seniors with more significant cognitive impairments are able to participate in specialized activities that are designed according to their individual interests, abilities and comfort. This innovative, eldercare program is unique to the northern Illinois community, as well as much of the State of Illinois.

The Recovery Services are available to all senior clients who have been determined to need additional mental health support. Our Geriatric Psychiatrists, Licensed Social Workers, Counselors and Community Support Specialists are interactive team members who can assist the senior who is in need of these services.

The Adult Day Health Program, Recovery Services and the new Dementia-Specific Day Program provide clients with daily activities based on their choice and ability, treatment options for their mental situations and valuable socialization with fellow clients and staff.

Through each of these person-centered care day programs, Family Alliance has created a supportive, therapeutic environment which offers the senior opportunities to remain mentally and socially active, as well as providing their caregivers with valuable respite.
