Senior Counseling & Therapy
There are many physical and emotional difficulties that can accompany the aging process. This counseling program provides individual and group support to seniors and their families who are experiencing these physical, mental and emotional difficulties.
Family Alliance’s Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Geriatric Psychiatrists and Case Managers identify the needs and abilities of each senior client. A plan of action is developed for the identified health, rehabilitation and social services as determined by the initial and continual assessments. Our counselors and case managers are proactive in providing advocacy, assistance and choices for the seniors.
If determined through the assessment, each senior has the opportunity to receive mental health treatment from our Geriatric Psychiatrists.
Due to the growing client numbers, Family Alliance is proud to be able to increase our consulting staff with the services of two Geriatric Psychiatrists. Our psychiatrists are available for appointments four days a month at our facility.
